Allah, the Exalted and the Glorious, the Creator of all things, determined particular characteristics of all His creatures. Poison kills, medicine cures, fire burns, food nourishes, water quenches thirst, etc. These are material things, which cause what Allah, the Exalted and the Glorious, has characterized them with. The same thing is with the Noble Qur'an, ayat (verses from the Noble Qur'an) that we recite or inscribe cause effects that are natured and determined in them by Allah, the Creator of all things. Essentially, entire Noble Qur'an is Allah's Word, and as such, is having immeasurable value and power.
